GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP
Chic Sketch is a mobile fashion illustration app and a live event sketching service. Notable collaborations include Cartier, Fendi, Bulgari, Jimmy Choo, LongChamp, BravoCon, Harper’s Bazaar Icons, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and many more. Chic Sketch has also partnered with media platforms such as Refinery 29, PopSugar, InStyle, Elle Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Stylecaster, Allure and more.
As the graphic design intern, I was responsible for making graphics for Instagram, organizing products on line sheets, editing video footage for Tiktoks and Instagram Reels, designing banners and covers for their online shop, and writing blog posts. During my internship, I used programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Cap Cut, and WordPress.
INSTAGRAM GRAPHICS
I created these graphics to celebrate different holidays and seasons along with promoting Chic Sketch's online shop. For these graphics, I would search for copy-right free photos to photoshop and create mock-ups. I would typically change the background and distort the model's clothes to display designs from the online shop. I would also add a sketch created by my boss of the model to promote what Chic Sketch does best, which is fashion illustration.
LINESHEETS
For these line sheets, I displayed the newest designs for the online shop. I placed the designs on a mock-up and foratted it for Instagram stories .
NYFW TIKTOK CONTENT
During my time spent at NYFW, I was in charge of capturing videos throughout the different shows. I filmed Emily’s outfits, fashion presentations, and the models featured at each event. I edited a video for each day we spent at NYFW, a video featuring all her outfits, and a video to sum up the week.
BLOG POSTS
Along with filming content for TikTok, I also was in charge of creating blog posts for the official Chic Sketch website. In these blog posts I recapped each day at NYFW and discussed the designers’ new lines.
WEBSITE BANNER AND COVERS
For these graphics, I took copy right free images and photoshopped Emily’s designs on the models. I also would take the subject of the photo and place them in a different scene to make a more cohesive look for the new Spring line.
